1795 to 1804 Draped Bust Dollars The Draped Bust Dollars were designed by Gilbert Stuart and there are two types of bust dollars: 1 - Small eagle (1795 - 1798) 2 - Heraldic eagle (1798 - 1804) There were 15 stars on the 1795 and 1796, 16 stars on the 1797.
